Commonpoint is a community centric nonprofit, serving diverse audiences through every chapter of life, across the five boroughs and beyond. We offer a rich range of services through our vast network of professionals, social workers, and volunteers, giving people the tools and resources to connect and grow.
Our Mission
Commonpoint Queens is a social services organization that meets the diverse needs of New York City and beyond. We offer a wide range of programs for people of all ages, ability levels, and backgrounds to connect and grow together.
Our Community
At every stage and every age, regardless of disability or ability, people can look to Commonpoint to find care during a crisis, access opportunities to grow, and deepen their sense of connection to those around them. From summer camps and job training to food pantries and private pool clubs, Commonpoint is by your side.

We created Commonpoint to expand our reach, to promote fairness in our neighborhoods, to meet the evolving needs of our borough, and to more effectively reinforce that we are a “commonpoint” for the diverse populations of New York City to come together.

Our Locations
Our support for the community extends across 81 sites throughout the greater Queens and New York City area, including our Sam Field Center and Central Queens location—the two anchors of our organization where many of our programs are based.
