Sofia Rago

Sofia’s journey with Commonpoint started 5 years ago as an administrative assistant for the Summer Youth Employment Program & Work Learn Grow. Two years ago, she transitioned full-time, as a Recruitment & Outreach Specialist for the GOALS Program at Richmond Hill High School. There, she gets to service 100+ students through our Social-Emotional Learning/Career Exploration programming.She is a first-year MSW student at Silberman School of Social Work, with a BA in Humanities & Justice, and double minors in Latino Studies and Counseling. Her major goal is to help her community and advocate for those who cannot do so for themselves. Her favorite part about her job is building a safe environment for my students, and preparing them for greatness after High School!
